Functions
Every function a formula can call, the nine number functions and the ten charts.
A function folds references into a value or draws them as a chart. Function names are case-insensitive. Where a function wants a single number (a scalar), passing a range is an error.
Number functions
SUM
SUM(range or values) → numberAdds the numbers. Blanks drop out. An empty set is 0.
AVG
AVG(range or values) → numberThe mean of the numbers. An empty set is blank.
MIN
MIN(range or values) → numberThe smallest number. An empty set is blank.
MAX
MAX(range or values) → numberThe largest number. An empty set is blank.
COUNT

Each returns an inline chart drawn from its arguments. Every one is drawn live by the same renderer the cells and cards use.
SPARKLINE
SPARKLINE(range) → chartA line of the series.
BARS
BARS(range) → chartBars of the series.
DELTA
DELTA(now, before?) → chartA value against a previous one.

Formulas inside a sentence
A card's sentence layout takes prose with {...} slots. Text outside braces stays text. Each {=formula} slot is run and drawn in place. An unclosed { is treated as plain text.
