Kasynga vs Notion
20 September 2026
Many teams keep almost everything in Notion, and much of it belongs there. Kasynga is the team lead's co-pilot, in early access. It runs your team's processes in one place, like check-ins, 1:1s, onboarding and reviews. Agents handle the busywork, you track the results and keep improving. This post covers what Notion does better today, what Kasynga does now, and what is coming next.
What Notion does well
Notion is a shared place to write. Docs, wikis, meeting notes and plans live beside databases, and every page can take whatever shape it needs. It has a huge gallery of templates, a big community, mobile and desktop apps and many integrations.
Where Notion is ahead of Kasynga today
- Writing. Notion is a place to write and think together. Kasynga has no pages for writing at all.
- Talking about the work. Notion has comments and mentions everywhere. Kasynga does not yet.
- Templates and community. Notion has a huge library and many people sharing how they work. Kasynga's set is small and its community very young.
- Apps and integrations. Notion has mobile and desktop apps and connects to many tools. Kasynga has no mobile app yet.
- Getting data in and out. Notion imports from many tools and exports your pages. Kasynga does neither yet.
- Maturity. Notion is used by very large companies. Kasynga is in early access and still changing.
What Kasynga does well
Notion is where your team writes. Kasynga is where your team's processes run. In Notion the structure and the rhythm are kept by whoever looks after the page. In Kasynga the product keeps them, and agents keep them moving.
- Set up by answering a few questions. Tell Kasynga about your team, pick what you want to run and rank how you measure good work. It builds the workspace, the check-ins and a dashboard, ready to shape.
- Agents for the busywork. Agents start on a schedule or when something changes. They ask people for what they owe, remind them and file the answers, in Kasynga, by email or on Slack.
- Results you can track. Weighted scores, formulas and dashboards show what changed, so you can adjust the process and go again.
- Its own email address. Each workspace has one. Replies come back to the right person's place, and mail from domains you have not approved is turned away.
- Open to your other tools. An API, webhooks and an MCP server let other software and AI assistants read and update your workspace.
What Kasynga does not do yet
- There is no import from a spreadsheet or CSV, and no export.
- There are no comments or mentions yet.
- There is no mobile app yet.
- People have one of two roles, owner or member. Finer permissions are still to come.
What is coming next
These are planned and being built now. None of them is in Kasynga yet.
- Agents you describe in a sentence. Say what you want done, and Kasynga sets up the agent, with the access it needs for you to approve.
- Agents that answer by email. An agent that reads a reply, drafts its answer on the same thread and waits for your OK before it sends.
- More places to reach your team, beside Slack and email.
Where each stands
| Notion | Kasynga today | Kasynga next | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Writing and docs | Excellent | Not offered | Not planned, Notion stays the place to write |
| A process that holds its shape | Kept by you | Kept by the product | Kept by the product |
| Check-ins and reminders | By hand | Agents on schedules and events | Agents you describe in a sentence |
| Results | What you build | Weighted scores and dashboards | The same |
| Mobile apps | Yes | Not yet | On our list |
| Maturity | Many years | Early access | Early access |
Which to choose
For your docs, wiki, meeting notes and all the writing your team does together, Notion is the right place, and Kasynga is not trying to replace it.
If part of your Notion has turned into a tracker for 1:1s, reviews and check-ins that keeps drifting out of shape, try Kasynga for that part alone, with the gaps above in mind.
