Kasynga vs Airtable
20 September 2026
Many teams move to Airtable when a spreadsheet stops being enough. Kasynga is the team lead's co-pilot, in early access. It runs your team's processes in one place, like check-ins, 1:1s, onboarding and reviews. Agents handle the busywork, you track the results and keep improving. This post covers what Airtable does better today, what Kasynga does now, and what is coming next.
What Airtable does well
Airtable is a flexible database that looks like a spreadsheet. It has typed fields, linked records, many kinds of views, forms, interfaces, a large set of automations and integrations with hundreds of tools. Teams use it for content calendars, inventories, request queues, light CRMs and much more, and it scales to whole companies.
Where Airtable is ahead of Kasynga today
- Breadth of automations. Airtable has many more triggers and actions, with years of polish.
- Integrations. Airtable connects to a long list of tools. Kasynga reaches people by email and on Slack, and has an API, webhooks and an MCP server.
- Getting data in and out. Airtable imports and exports spreadsheets. Kasynga does neither yet.
- Forms and interfaces. Airtable's are polished and well proven. Kasynga's are newer.
- Collaboration. Airtable has comments and mentions. Kasynga does not yet.
- Permissions, mobile and scale. Airtable has detailed permissions, mobile apps and a long record at company scale. Kasynga has two roles, no mobile app yet, and is not proven at scale.
What Kasynga does well
Airtable gives you building blocks and leaves the design to you. Kasynga starts from a point of view about one job, leading a team, and sets up the process for you. You answer a few questions instead of designing a base.
- Set up by answering a few questions. Tell Kasynga about your team, pick what you want to run and rank how you measure good work. It builds the workspace, the check-ins and a dashboard, ready to shape.
- Agents for the busywork. Agents start on a schedule or when something changes. They ask people for what they owe, remind them and file the answers, in Kasynga, by email or on Slack.
- Results you can track. Weighted scores, formulas and dashboards show what changed, so you can adjust the process and go again.
- Its own email address. Each workspace has one. Replies come back to the right person's place, and mail from domains you have not approved is turned away.
- Open to your other tools. An API, webhooks and an MCP server let other software and AI assistants read and update your workspace.
What Kasynga does not do yet
- There is no import from a spreadsheet or CSV, and no export.
- There are no comments or mentions yet.
- There is no mobile app yet.
- People have one of two roles, owner or member. Finer permissions are still to come.
What is coming next
These are planned and being built now. None of them is in Kasynga yet.
- Agents you describe in a sentence. Say what you want done, and Kasynga sets up the agent, with the access it needs for you to approve.
- Agents that answer by email. An agent that reads a reply, drafts its answer on the same thread and waits for your OK before it sends.
- More places to reach your team, beside Slack and email.

| Integrations | Hundreds | Email, Slack, an API, webhooks and MCP | More places |
| Import, comments, mobile | Yes | Not yet | On our list |
| Maturity | Many years | Early access | Early access |
Which to choose
If you need a database for a whole company, deep integrations or anything running at scale today, Airtable is the safer choice.
If you are a team lead who knows the process you want to run and would rather answer a few questions than design a database, Kasynga may suit you, as long as the gaps above do not get in your way yet.
